Rumour has it that, “Salman Khan refused to kiss Katrina Kaif for Tiger Zinda Hai”. According to a source, “Everyone felt that just this one time, just once, Salman Khan would break his no-kissing policy for the reason that the sequence is crucial to the plot and also because, well, it’s Katrina. But Salman refused outright. Director Ali Abbas Zafar tried his best to convince Salman. But, nothing worked as a result the scene has been dropped now.” Of course, everyone started talking with reference to it. But turns out it’s a totally baseless story as Salman is very clear regarding intimate scenes in films. He doesn’t want them in his films, furthermore he will thus won’t indulge anyone either. So clearly, such a thing never became an issue in the making of Tiger Zinda Hai. Salman had revealed on the subject of his dislike to doing intimate scenes in his films. He had said, “I’m extremely uncomfortable. I’m not shy, however I just don’t like it. I just don’t think there’s a need to kiss on screen. Whenever there is a need, I may do it. But I haven’t felt the need yet.” Salman Khan is utterly clear about what he wants to show on-screen and what he doesn’t. Truthfully, he doesn’t need to. Without kissing Madhuri Dixit in “Hum Aapke Hain Kaun” or Bhagyashree in “Maine Pyaar Kiya”, his romantic look as well as smoldering face was enough to make girls swoon over him. So why should he kiss on screen?
