The latest song ‘Udja Re’ shows Shraddha Kapoor performing on stage. Shraddha's black avatar is gives a gothic feel as she is singing about breaking free and flying high. "Udja Re" is so far one of the best songs from the film, the lyrics of the song are penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Shankar-Ehsan-Loy.
Rock On 2 takes the story forward from it's first part in 2008. Shraddha Kapoor is the new face in the star cast of the film, whereas Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal, Purab Kohli & Prachi Desai are reprising their roles . Shraddha Kapoor has sung three songs in the film. Rock On 2 is all about the rock band coming together after so many years and how an amateur singer "Jiah" (Shraddha Kapoor) is trained to become a part of their band.
Few days back the trailer of Rock On 2 was launched at a live concert. Shraddha Kapoor will be playing the character of an amateur singer "Jiah" who has a prodigal talent with the keyboard and vocals but for a mysterious reason, she is not able to reach her full potential. Rock on 2 will release on November 11.
