Review - After a gap of four years, director Sujoy Ghosh and Vidya Balan are back with a sequel to the 2012 hit film "Kahaani", with a new plot and new characters. Last time we saw Vidya Balan as Vidya Bagchi, but now, it's all about Vidya Sinha and Durga Rani Singh. This time Arjun Rampal joins Vidya Balan as the investigating cop, trying to unveil the mystery surrounding Vidya Sinha and Durga Rani Singh. The film is shot on real locations and majorly at night. Vidya Balan delivers a terrific performance with her dual role, on the other hand, Arjun Rampal is impressive as the investigating cop. The film has the authentic texture. Director Sujoy Ghosh made us fall in love with Kolkata's outing in 2012 and this time he will make you fall in love with Kalimpong, West Bengal. The camera work and the background score is really good. The music of the film is average. The main highlight of the film is it's intriguing plot, which keeps the audience on their seats. The music of the film, is average. "Kahaani 2" has nothing similar with it's prequel. It's one of those rare films, which tackle a sensitive subject. If you love films having thriller genre, then this one is for you !
