The body of Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha will be kept at Rajaji Hall for people to pay their respects, said AIADMK. The Tamil Nadu government has declared 1 week of mourning, as the whole nation mourned her death. Schools and Colleges will remain closed in Tamil Nadu for three days.
Jayalalitha was admitted at the Apollo Hospital on 22nd September with dehydration and fever. She suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening and her condition was critical. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee led the nation in paying homeage to Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, J. Jayalalitha.
