Plot - Adi (Aditya Roy Kapoor) is a young game designer, Tara (Shraddha Kapoor) is an architect. Both are planning to go abroad and get settled there. They meet up at a friend's wedding, flirt with each other and very soon both engage in a passionate relationship. They decide to live in a relationship together until their abroad plans take shape. But as they get deeper into their relationship, there comes a tough situation in their life, what to choose - Love or Career ?
Review - Ok Jaanu is the Hindi remake of much loved and acclaimed Tamil film Ok Kanmani. Ok Kanmani was a commercial success because of the on screen chemistry of the lead pair Dulquer Salman - Nithya. Ok Jaanu is directed by Shaad Ali who earlier directed Kill Dil, Saathiya and Dil Se etc. The director managed to rope in AR Rahman and Gulzar for a perfect musical touch. After a long gap, Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor are coming together on-screen after 2013's Superhit film Aashiqui 2. The trailer of the film gave a small idea about the storyline of the film, although it was good to see Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor on screen after a long time. The film deals with modern day relationships and live in scenario in metropolitans. Shraddha Kapoor looks like a cutie pie and delivers a very good performance. She's an architect as well as Adi's love. While Aditya Roy Kapoor is charming as well as impressive. After his last film "Fitoor" got a lukewarm response at the box office, this film will surely bring him back. Director Shaad Ali did a terrific job. The cinematography is also brilliant. Overall, it's a beautiful film. The music of the film is composed by AR Rahman, the songs have already topped the charts so far and I'm still in love with Arijit Singh's Enna Sohna. The main highlight of the film was the on screen chemistry of Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The much loved on-screen couple will remind you of their last film together, their on screen chemistry is adorable. Naseeruddin Shah and Leela Samson deliver fine performances. If you are a fan of modern day love stories, then this one is definitely for you. Go for it !
