SHOCKING! Padma Shri winner, Bollywood Actor Om Puri passes away at the age of 66 after a massive heart attack !


Bollywood Actor and Padma Shri winner Om Puri, one of the most versatile actors of Industry has passed away after a massive heart attack today in the morning. He was just 66. His dead body is at his residence in Andheri, his old friends, relatives and Bollywood celebrities have arrived to pay their last respects.

Filmmaker Ashok Pandit, a close friend of Om Puri confirmed the news of Om Puri's death. He took his Twitter handle to share the news, he wrote
Om Puri was born on 18th October,1950 in Ambala, Haryana. He graduated from the Film & Television Institute of India. He was one of the finest actors of our Industry. He worked in several Bollywood and Punjabi films as well as Hollywood films. He gained popularity from his iconic roles in "Ardh Satya", "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron", "Paar", "Maachis" . He also worked in Shah Rukh Khan's Don series and Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan. He was the narrator of historical Punjabi film "Chaar Sahibzaade" and also the voice behind popular character of The Jungle Book's "Bagheera". His last commerical film was "Ghayal Once Again". His also worked with Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal in "Hera Pheri". Om Puri also received India's fourth highest civilian award, Padma Shri.
