Although, Raees is garnering a positive response from the trailer and the recently released songs. The trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's Raees trended on top of top trending videos worldwide over YouTube, it got fastest 50k likes, 100k likes, 200k likes, 300k likes, 400k likes, 450k likes as well as fastest 10m views, 20m views, 30m views and with 39m views the trailer is all set to cross fastest 50m views on YouTube for a Bollywood Trailer. The song "Laila Main Laila" was released last month and it got fastest 50m views and fastest 100k likes for a Bollywood Song on YouTube. Few days back, the makers released the second song from the film, "O Zaalima" featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan. The song got fastest 10.5m views and fastest 100k likes in 24 hours over YouTube for a Bollywood Song, breaking the previous record of "Laila Main Laila" 9.8m views and 100k likes in 24 hours.

In the latest still, King Khan and Mahira Khan are looking traditionally dressed. Somewhere between Shah Rukh Khan sporting a bandhani dupatta and Mahira Khan in a red ghagra choli, their eyes are expressing deep love for each other. Since last few years, we haven't seen a Gujarati flavoured song, with Dandiya and Garba, but this time Shah Rukh Khan is bringing it. The dandiya and garba in bollywood is always about two lovers flirting more than dancing. The song "Udi Udi Jaye" from Raees is expected to release on the eve of Makar Sankranti.i.e. 14th January.
Raees is directed by National Award Winner director Rahul Dholaki and produced under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment. Raees is set in the 1980's Gujarat, Shah Rukh Khan is playing the role of a Gujarati Bootlegger "Raees", while Nawazuddin Siddiqui is essaying the role of ACP Ghulam Patel, who is high on heels to get Raees arrested. The film also features Mahira Khan playing as Shah Rukh Khan's love interest "Mohsina", while Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub is also there alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Raees is all set to release on 25th January and will clash with Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam's romantic thriller "Kaabil".
