If yes, then brace yourselves, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt will be sharing screen space for the fourth time on the big screen for Abhishek Varman’s romantic-drama, Shiddat! Till now, the duo has co-starred in three films together – Student of The Year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania and all have been commercial success on the Box Office.
According to a recent report, "Varun and Alia have always been a delight to watch on screen and they are in fact one of the most loved jodis of B-Town. They share a crackling chemistry that looks so real on screen that for that time you forget that they are not a couple in real life.
A source claimed that the film is in scripting stage, Abhishek, Karan and Alia has been working on the script. The shooting schedule is now being adjusted to suit Varun and Alia's dates. Earlier, there was speculations about Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor playing the parallel lead, but news about the second lead hero is being kept under wraps.
Alia and Varun have always been good friends ever since they made their debut in Bollywood. They share a very strong bond. Talking about their equation, Varun told the leading daily, "Alia and I are always in the same boat. Our styles are different, we choose different films and different genres but the things that go on in our head are often the same. Our conversations often begin with me asking Alia, ‘Is this the right thing to do? Does this need to change?’ and she assuring me that I’m on the right track. Five minutes later, I’ll become the one calming her down. That’s our life in a nut shell."
