TUBELIGHT : Salman Khan's film garners 50% occupancy during morning shows!
Salman Khan starrer Tubelight was one of the most awaited and highly anticipated films of the year. The film has released today, and it looks like it has started off on a decent note. The film released on 4350 screens across India with an opening occupancy of around 45-50 percent during the morning shows at the domestic box office. Several single screen theatres opened to housefull shows too. As Salman Khan starrer Tubelight is releasing on Eid, we expected the film to start off well. Unfortunately, it hasn’t opened as good as we expected it to. In fact, Tubelight is the lowest opener for Salman Khan's last three releases 'Sultan'. 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' and 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. This much occupancy is even lower than Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees which clashed with Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil. ALSO READ - TUBELIGHT FIRST REVIEW : Salman Khan's film garners mixed reviews!

Last year, Salman Khan's 'Sultan' made it to the 300cr club and we are expecting it to cross Bajrangi Bhaijaan's collections. Interestingly, with Shah Rukh Khan’s presence as a cameo, there has been enough excitement over seeing the two Khans on the big screen together. Tubelight is directed by Kabir Khan and stars Salman Khan, Sohial Khan, Chinese Actress Zhu Zhu, Child Artist Matin Rey Tangu, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub and Late. Om Puri.
