Jagga Jasoos release delayed - read details
After numerous delays, fans got a reason to rejoice because Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer Jagga Jasoos was finally releasing this week. However, looks like the film has hit an additional barrier and might not release in the Middle East tomorrow!
Jagga Jasoos was going to release in U.A.E tomorrow i.e. Thursday, as every other Bollywood film, but the prints haven’t been delivered yet. According to the grapevine, the actors were busy in dubbing of the film till Sunday (July 9) and the post production work on the film is still awaiting. This has postponed the film’s release in Middle East, but even after this delay, it’s confirmed that the film won’t be delayed in India, it will hit the screens in India as scheduled. A source revealed, “Jagga Jasoos was scheduled to release in UAE this Thursday, but the makers are yet to send out the prints. The exhibitors and distributors are confused and hence, they haven’t started the pre-booking in quite a lot of regions. The music of the film also hasn’t met the obligatory deadline. Ranbir Kapoor also wants a few cuts in the film. The makers are even puzzled about the finish they want to give to the Anurag Basu directorial. According to the grapevine, Jagga Jasoos will release in India on Friday (July 14), after the makers complete the post-production work and the end is decided. As the makers botched to meet the deadline in UAE, the Anurag Basu directorial will now hit the screens in Middle East next Thursday i.e. July 20. A source close to the movie said, “The makers had planned an international release, on July 14. Now, at this time the makers are rushing to complete the final edits, make a final decision about the finish they want to give to the Anurag Basu directorial and send out the final prints to all the exhibitors and distributors across India and the globe.
