Ever since Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer upcoming rom-com “Shubh Mangal Saavdhan” was announced, we started wondering that the film would be really cool. The first look poster of the film made us superexcited. Recently, the makers released the Shubh Mangal Saavdhan teaser and it’s a hilarious one.
After watching the teaser, we’re sure you won’t be able to control your excitement for the movie. The teaser treats us with Ayushmann and Bhumi taking a dig at each other by calling each other not-so-hot and not-so-cool. The teaser doesn’t show Ayushmann and Bhumi, but a narration with cartoon and comic strips. The dialogues are humorous and the teaser proves that the film will be a light-hearted rom-com. Bhumi Pednekar and Ayushmann Khurrana will be coming together on silver screen for the second time after the commercial success of “Dum Laga Ke Haisha”. We’re sure the amusing pair will sizzle on the big screen.
The film is helmed by R.S. Prasanna and produced by Aanand L. Rai. The trailer is slated release on August 1. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is adapted from 2013’s hit Tamil film “Kalyana Samayal Saadham”. The film portrays the story of a cool couple who fall in love and choose to get married. The story takes a turn when the groom discovers that he’s suffering from erectile dysfunction. What happens next is a side-splitting journey and ends on a really appealing note.
These days Ayushmann is busy with his upcoming film “Bareilly Ki Barfi” while Bhumi is busy “Toilet – Ek Prem Katha.
