Akshay Kumar’s Padman to release on Republic Day 2018, is it a sign of Padman vs 2.O?
Akshay Kumar to clash against himself at the box office on Republic Day 2018.
Akshay Kumar is possessed with Republic Day as well as Independence Day releases. In fact, the actor has started to do several such films that are well adapted on National holidays. In fact, the appeal for these dates have reached to such grand proportions that now Akshay Kumar is left with no further option to compete himself at the box office. Yes, Rajinikanth’s 2.O where he plays the enemy will release alongside Padman. Both the films are scheduled to hit the screens on Republic Day 2018.
It may be a double treat for his fans, but it may not be a vast business viewpoint for both the films. 2.O has an enthusiastic buzz around it which is almost parallel to Baahubali 2. 2.O is not only is a sequel to the hit 2010’s science fiction film ‘Robot’, it has gone bigger as well by occupying Akshay’s villainy skills which is very trendy and convincing. Plus, the film has been produced at a life-size budget and is likely to repeat the success of S. S. Rajamouli’s war epic. The film is releasing on January 25, 2018 and loads of critics, as well as fans are confident that it will turn out to be the first biggest blockbuster of Indian Cinema next year.
And then it gets pitted in opposition to a film like Padman which has a message. Padman is the story of a man who suffered pain by the situation of his wife during periods, makes a decision to make cheaper sanitary pads available for women. Padman is a thought-provoking film which is inspired by a man’s bona fide fight. Akshay will clearly bring in a lot of people to the theatres on January 26 but it would’ve been better if the film had managed to get a solo release. 2.O might just crush it’s chances to make good numbers at the box office.
We wonder what’s there on Akshay Kumar’s mind!
