Yesterday Karan Johar took his Twitter handle and confirmed that his collaboration with Akshay Kumar is now titled as Kesari and it will release on Holi 2019. After that he also confirmed the release date of Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film Raazi, co-starring Vicky Kaushal, which will release on May 11, 2018. In addition to it now, Karan Johar has announced a biggie!

Remember Ranbir Kapoor’s much anticipated and highly awaited movie Dragon, that was to star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles and was to be helmed by Ayan Mukerji? Well, the film has now got an official title and will be now known as Brahmastra. It will be the first of the trilogy series planned, and will hit the screens on August 15, 2019, that result in booking itself the Independence Day Weekend. Along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt the movie will also star Amitabh Bachchan in the star cast. Isn’t it amazing? And since it is Big B’s birthday, the announcement seems appropriate.
Right now, Ranbir Kapoor is going through a slightly bad box office phase as his last film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ didn’t manage to get a hit tag and now he’s coming with Ayan Mukerji. The actor-director duo has managed to create wonders at box office with ‘Wake Up Sid!’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. And in actual fact, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is Ranbir’s biggest hit till date. On the other hand Alia Bhatt is having a good run at the box office, her last few films have been hit at the box office. We hope, both Ayan and Alia work in Ranbir Kapoor’s favour.
