Christmas 2018 – It’s Sushant Singh Rajput vs Shah Rukh Khan vs Ranveer Singh? Are you sure?

Shah Rukh Khan announced his Dwarf project with Aanand L. Rai for December 21, 2018, taking over Mr. Perfectionist Aamir Khan’s favourite slot – the Christmas. While everyone was speculating the Dwarf project to be a solo Christmas release, but Sushant Singh Rajput and Ranveer Singh are all set to take on King Khan!

Recently, Rohit Shetty announced his next with Ranveer Singh – an official adaptation of South superstar Jr. NTR’s hit Telugu film ‘Temper’, the action-drama might hit the screens around Christmas 2018, says a source. Speaking about Rohit Shetty’s collaboration with the Padmavati actor, the Golmaal director had said, “I’ll start the film next year in May or June. It’s high on action film, it’s a space which Ranveer hasn’t explored yet and he wanted to do this with me. People will love that also. Ranveer and Rohit, the actor-director duo had earlier teamed up for the Ching’s advertisement and created ripples with their power-packed performances. There were speculations regarding that the director is planning to cast Ranveer in the remake of Ram-Lakhan but it was only a piece of somebody’s thought.

This isn’t the first time Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan would be locking horns at the box office. In 2015, Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale made for the biggest clash of the year and it ended with protests and negativity against Dilwale, while Ranveer taking home great moolah along with awards. Given the fact that Ranveer has already beaten Khan once at the domestic box office (Nah, not worldwide!), the 2018 clash would be a rather an exciting one! In addition, Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming film Kedarnath is all set for December 21, 2018 release too. For those who don’t know about Sushant and Sara’s upcoming venture, Kedarnath is a love story based against the backdrop of Uttarakhand floods. The film is directed by Abhishek Kapoor. Sara plays a well-to-do tourist, while Sushant portrays the role of a pithu (a person who carries people’s luggage on his back). Like every love story, the two fall in love with each other, when the calamitous floods hit the holy town of Kedarnath. Therein lies the main twist in the story. Right now, Ranveer is gearing up for Padmavati’s release while Shah Rukh Khan will be hitting the screens directly next year with Dwarf which also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif playing the female leads. The film is also supposed to have cameos of Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. The poster of Dwarf will be out in few days, also SRK’s Dwarf is made on a budget of 200 crore and we do speculate that Kedarnath and Temper will avert the clash with this biggie. What’s your opinion?
