The tweets by Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan got the fans excited. Farah Khan has always said that, she doesn't want to make a franchise just for the sake of it, she will not make a sequel unless it proceeds by a good story.
Farah said, "Very rarely has a sequel beaten the popularity of the original, even in Hollywood. We have seen so far, that the only thing the sequel always makes is more collections than the prequel. Maybe Dhoom 2 (2006) was better than the original Dhoom (2004); story wise. But I feel, usually, franchises simply make more money only, rather than beating the prequel maybe story wise or something other. Main Hoon Na had nothing that could be used to make a sequel."
But now it seems like Farah Khan has found a something as the creative bug in her is at work again! Clearly, a franchise is born. Now fans are excited and eagerly waiting for the sequel of "Main Hoon Na".
