Hindi Medium Movie Review : A perfect combination of well written story, class act and a good message!

PLOT - Raj Batra (Irrfan Khan), a Chandni Chowk merchant and his wife Mita (Saba Qamar), an affluent couple from Delhi are grappling with getting their daughter admission into an English medium school. Their mother tongue in Hindi, and the elitist snobs won't let the hindi speaking masses fit in.
REVIEW - Saket Choudhary's film deals with a very relevant subject of how, the language divides our society. How the English speaking people in India are considered as premium class, while the Hindi speaking ones however illustrious or wealthy are not highly intellectual or cultured or plain uncool. Hindi medium is a combination of good story, good comedy, and a good message. Raj Batra (Irrfan) has a flourishing clothes store in Delhi's Chandni Chowk, he sells original copies of acclaimed designers. Raj and his wife Mita, together they struggle for improving their lifestyle so that their daughter Pia (Dishita Sehgal) gets enrolled in a high-flying English medium school. They move out from their ancestral home into a plush neighborhood, start wearing designer wears, and switch dancing from Bhangra to beats. The couple meets Shyam Prakash (Deepak Dobriyal), who teaches them a few lessons.
The direction of Saket Choudhary deserves a special mention here, he's spells out emotions brilliantly, and proves out he's excellent in his work. The first half is high on humour, reality and aspirations, while the second half is convenient. Irrfan Khan delivers a top notch performance with a class act, Saba Qamar is also good in her act, Deepak Dobriyal is superb as always, his comic timing and and genuine acting, both can bring viewers to tears. The climax looks stretched, however predictable but drives home to the point, exposing the loopholes in our education system. Hindi Medium isn't a typical Bollywood film, it's my personal suggestion that you shouldn't miss this one!
