Jagga Jasoos Box Office Collection Day 4 : Ranbir-Katrina’s film declines on Monday, collects Rs 37.22 crore
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer much awaited film “Jagga Jasoos” was released this Friday. Though, the film received mixed reviews mixed amongst the critics, but the general audience has loved the movie and couldn’t stop gushing about the actor’s impressive act. Unfortunately, the Anurag Basu directorial didn’t collect well at the box office on it’s opening day, courtesy – a working Friday. But somehow, it managed to get a good occupancy on day 2 (Saturday) and day 3 (Sunday) which took the overall box office collection of the film to ₹ 33.17 cr. Unfortunately, the film declined on Monday and collected just Rs. 4.05 crore, taking the overall box office collection to ₹ 37.22 crore. Film critic and biz analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the Monday box office collection report of Ranbir-Katrina starrer,
Jagga Jasoos is the story of a young detective, who goes on a quest to find his missing father. He is accompanied by a young journalist; Shruti on his journey. Though the film has collected Rs. 37.22 crore till now, bearing in mind the start it got, this is truly a good figure. Though weekdays are crucial for the film to maintain a solid momentum, but we expect the film to hold on the momentum and collect well during it’s first week. Jagga Jasoos is Anurag Basu directorial. The director came back after a long gap of five years. Although, this is Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor's second outing together. The actor-director duo came together for the very first time in 2012 for Barfi. Barfi received positive reviews amongst the critics, the actor also received the Best Actor award for Barfi.
