Jagga Jasoos Box Office Collection Day 3 : Ranbir-Katrina’s film sees a good growth on Sunday, collects Rs 33.17 crore
Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer much awaited film “Jagga Jasoos” was released this Friday. The film received mixed reviews from the critics, but the general audience has been praising the film and couldn’t stop gushing about Ranbir Kapoor’s quintessential act. The occupancy on day three (Sunday) was higher than day two (Saturday). The collections saw a good growth as it collected Rs 13.07 crore on Sunday. This took the entire box office collection to Rs 33.17 crore in just three days. Movie critic and biz analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,
Jagga Jasoos is directed by Anurag Basu, who is coming back after a long gap of five years. The film embarks the journey of a young detective who goes on a quest to find his missing father. This is Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor's second outing together after 2012’s surprise hit Barfi. We were expecting the film to witness a good growth during the weekend and rake in somewhere between Rs 30-35 crore over the first weekend and that’s what really happened. Jagga Jasoos was Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif’s most awaited film and had an extraordinary pre-release buzz. A working Friday resulted the movie in getting an average opening on it’s very first day. Bearing in mind the start it got, this is truly superior figure.
