Review - It’s been a long time as we have enjoyed a really good humorous movie in Bollywood. But perchance that’s lastly gonna alter with Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan. The film is helmed by Anees Bazmee, who is well known for making some insane hilarious comic flicks like ‘No Entry’, ‘Singh is King’ and ‘Welcome’. The film has a promising star-cast which includes Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’Çruz, Athiya Shetty, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rahul Dev. There’s no doubt, Anil Kapoor has an extraordinary comic timing. Arjun Kapoor further adds on to the enthusiasm by playing a dual role. Giving away to a great extent will ruin the fun that you’re intended to have while watching ‘Mubarakan’. Anil Kapoor is the show-stealer with his semi British-semi Punjabi act which lifts the film right through, while Arjun Kapoor’s dual-act brings up some smiles and the girls – Ileana D’cruz, Athiya Shetty and Neha Sharma add up glamour. Ratna Pathak Shah and Pavan Malhotra add weightage with their hilarious acts. Overall,‘Mubarakan’ lives upto expectations and turns out to be a complete family entertainer.

Final Words - Mubarakan is a complete family entertainer which aims to make you chuckle. Go for it!

Trailer -

The makers of ‘Mubarakan’ treated us with two trailers and both were enormously high on amusement. It has comedy, romance, music, Arjun Kapoor’s dual role, and above all it has Anil Kapoor, what else you need? The first trailer gave a deja vu like feeling bearing in mind it reminded us of Anees Bazmee’s hit films – ‘No Entry’ and ‘Singh Is King’ but the next trailer proved ‘Mubarakan’ is a type of comedy film. Songs -

With Kumaar being the individual lyricist, Mubarakan’s music album is a stuffed with foot-tapping Punjabi dance numbers that will mollify everyone who loves bash numbers. Well, 'Hawa-Hawa' by Mika Singh and Prakriti Kakar is garnering good response over YouTube, although many tracks from the album will definitely rule DJ’s playlist. Though, apart from ‘Haathon Mein Thhe Haath’, there’s not much diversity in the jukebox, which can upset listeners who want some soothing romantic songs. Mubarakan’s album provides nourishing Punjabiness. Watch the songs of Mubarakan below :

Box office predicition -

When it comes to comedy genre, Anees Bazmee is a first-class director. He crafts surprises. With Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty as the lead cast the film looks wondeful. Anees Bazmee is coming to the genre of mass comedy after a long time and the mass spectators have been deprived of such humorous elements. The film will definitely do well and will open up at Rs 5 - 7 crore on it’s first day and over the weekend, it can easily rake in Rs 20 - 25 crore. But after the first weekend, everything depends on the word of mouth and content of the film.
