First poster of Sanjay Dutt starrer ‘Bhoomi’ is intriguing
Fans have been keenly waiting for Sanjay Dutt’s return to the big screen. His film was Raj Kumar Hirani’s PK (2014), where the actor played a small but key role. After a long break of three years Sanjay Dutt is all set to come back to business with his next film titled as ‘Bhoomi’. Bhoomi is a revenge thriller that has been directed by Omung Kumar, who is well known for films like ‘Sarabjit’ and ‘Mary Kom’. On the occasion of Sanjay’s 58th birthday today, the makers of Bhoomi decided to unveil the first poster of the forthcoming film.
Earlier, the makers released a teaser poster of the film, which took the internet by storm. Now, Bhoomi’s newest released poster will definitely go viral over the social media. The poster features an intense looking Sanjay Dutt roughly glaring with eyes filled with anger, his hairs and face covered with mud. Director Omung Kumar said, “When the teaser poster was released, I had said that people will desire to know more and more and this poster is an indication to Sanjay’s amazing way of transforming and portraying different characters and intensity.” Producer Bhushan Kumar added, “This poster is just a small portion of the enchantment of Sanjay Dutt and the intensity of his character in Bhoomi.” Producer Sandeep Singh also added, “Bhoomi is vintage Baba. I think his fans have been eargely waiting for him and I’m quite confident that they won’t be disappointed.”
Bhoomi is an emotional revenge drama which focuses on the relationship between a father and daughter. There have been speculations about the plot of the film which looks a little parallel to recently released films – ‘Maatr’ and ‘Mom.’ The trailer will clear things up now.
Bhoomi stars Sanjay Dutt and Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. Directed by Omung Kumar and produced by T-Series and Legend Studios, the film is scheduled to hit the on September 22, 2017.
