Ittefaq Trailer: Sidharth, Sonakshi and Akshaye’s crime thriller is worth the wait!
The much anticipated, highly awaited trailer of Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna starrer crime thriller Ittefaq is out now and it’s worth the wait! It was yesterday, when the makers of the film revealed the new posters in addition to it, they organized a special screening of the film for media portals. Since, the media portals started tweeting their positive reviews of the Ittefaq trailer, we couldn’t keep calm over the official release of the trailer. The 3 mins trailer starts with a conversation between Sidharth Malhotra and Akshaye Khanna. After that, we’re treated with Sid’s entrance, after that he meets Sonakshi Sinha asks for her help. And what follows on is Sidharth and Sonakshi’s engaging in gripping mind games, though Akshaye Khanna shines as an intense cop on the job. Ittefaq is an official remake of Yash Chopra’s namesake 1969 film ‘Ittefaq’ which starred Rajesh Khanna, Madan Puri and Nanda in lead roles. The film is based on a murder mystery, Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra) and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha) are two mutual suspects, while Akshaye Khanna in the cop on job. The film has been directed by Abhay Chopra, jointly produced by BR Films, Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment and is slated to release on November 3, a day after Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday.
Just now, Sidharth is over and done with the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Aiyaary’ which is based on a real-life happening that revolves around two strong-minded army officers with absolutely diverse views, so far accurate in their own ways. The film essays Sid as an army officer sharing a mentor-protégé bond with Manoj Bajpayee. The film also features Pooja Chopra. On the other hand Sonakshi has just started shooting for Happy Bhag Jayegi Returns together with Diana Penty.
