Review - While the last film "Star Wars - The Force Awakens" wasn't much interesting, but this latest edition is actually much entertaining. The film is a little bit predictable, the film takes us back to where it began. But that's the strength of this film. The film becomes much interesting as it proceeds. The main element of this film is it's well written plot penned by John Knoll and Garry Whitta along with an impressive screenplay by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy. Soon we begin to know more about the characters. The film has everything that we expected, be it the action, or be it the near deafening background track that we expect from inter-galactic battles. Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) gives her rebellious best as the female lead protagonist. She leads the charge of the rebel forces in their fight against the evil empire, which is led by Orson Krennic. Jones struggles to locate her long missing weapons expert father Galen Erso (Mads Mikkelsen) along with rebel ally Cassian Andor (Diego Luna). A lovable chatty droid K-2 (Alan Tudyk) and Donnie Yen's blind samurai Chirrut Imwe are the true scene stealers. K-2 completely steals the show from his human companions. Mads Mikkelsen, Riz Ahmed and Ben Mendelsohn deliver strong performances. Director Gareth Edwards did a fabulous job. This film is a fresh new direction for the space opera series. It's for every kid, teenager or everyone who just looked at the sky and wondered if there were other world like us out there (Yes I always wondered). This film is made for all die hard fans of the franchise. It's a new as well as a great starting point for someone new to the "Star Wars" franchise. This is the movie we expected, this is the film of our generation. Go for it !
