Kikkar and Ameeran's love has been tested with the rising tension of both the families due to boundaries.
REVIEW - After critically acclaimed films like "Angrej", "Love Punjab" and "Sarvann" Punjabi Superstar Amrinder Gill is back with another romantic flick Lahoriye. Punjabi Cinephiles must salute the director and writer of the film Amberdeep Singh, for his vision, ambition and hardwork. Amberdeep Singh is making is directorial debut with Lahoriye, he is also the script writer of superhit films like "Angrej", "Love Punjab" and "Goreyan Nu Daffa Karo" etc. The director took a good story because even 70 years after India-Pakistan partition, anything around it still piques interest. The film shows how partition impacted the love story of Kikkar (Amrinder Gill) and Ameeran (Sargun Mehta), their fight for love, whether they choose to be together or will they sacrifice their love for the sake of their families? The film has got an excellent scenerio of Punjab during the partition. Amrinder Gill spreads his charm, on the other hand Sargun Mehta looks damn impressive, she looks gorgeous throughout the film. Although, Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta's chemistry has always created wonders on the box office. Both the actors played their part very well. "Lahoriye is Amrinder Gill and Sargun Mehta's best performance till date." The film also marks the debut of Punjabi singer Nimrat Khaira, she looks beautiful and delivers a good performance. Yuvraj Hans, Rajiv Thakur, Sardar Sohi, Nirmal Rishi, Hobby Dhaliwal deliver great performances. The film isn't having any dull moment. The direction and scriptwriting deserves a special mention here, just brilliant. Director Amberdeep Singh makes an impressive debut. The music of the film is composed by Jatinder Shah, "Akhar", "Jeeondean Ch" and "Gutt Ch Lahore" are my favourite tracks from the film. The film has everything we were waiting for! Go for it!
FINAL WORDS - Films like Lahoriye are made once in a decade! Don't miss it!
