Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic gets a new release date – read details
Ranbir Kapoor’s much anticipated film ‘Dutt’ ( Sanjay Dutt biopic) has got a fresh release date. Earlier the film was scheduld to hit the screens on Christmas this year, though the film was clashing with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai. Though, the previous release date has been shifted and it was speculated that the movie will now hit the screens on Eid 2018, but again it was facing a clash with Salman Khan’s another film, which is being helmed by Remo D’Souza. But now, according to the grapevine the Sanjay Dutt biopic, could hit the screens much earlier in 2018.
Biz analyst Ramesh Bala, took his twitter handle and wrote. He has tweeted -

The Sanjay Dutt biopic stars Ranbir Kapoor in lead role. The actor will be portraying the character of Sanjay Dutt. We’ve seen the actor spending lots of time in gym, in order to gain Sanjay Dutt’s physique. The latest picture of Ranbir Kapoor along with his gym trainer has taken the internet by storm. The film is being by Rajkumar Hirani, the man who directed ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S’, ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’, ‘3 Idiots’ and ‘PK’. Rajkumar Hirani is a close friend of Sanjay Dutt. Earlier in an interview, Ranbir had revealed that how Sanjay Dutt gave some tips to help him out. The actor said, “Sanju Baba hasn’t been a hypocrite about his life. So his biopic is not a half truth film trying to depict him as God or something else. We are trying to illustrate an extreme human side of Sanjay Dutt, his perils, his downfalls, his determination to fight, his time in prison, terrorism charges, his drug addiction phase, the way he handled his mother’s death 2 days prior to the release of his debut film, his bonding with his father, etc.”
